What is a Legals Only Wedding?
A Legals Only Wedding includes the minimum legal requirements needed for a valid Australian marriage. It is a short and simple ceremony that focuses purely on completing the legal marriage process. The actual ceremony usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes.

When you book a Legal Only Wedding with me, I will:
✔ Prepare and lodge all legal paperwork
✔ Guide you through the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
✔ Verify your identity documents
✔ Conduct your legal marriage ceremony
✔ Register your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages
✔ Answer any questions throughout the process
Extra fees may apply for:
-Travel time / costs (including ferry, tolls, kms, parking)
-Extra traveling time, including aligning to ferry times to ensure arrival early enough prior to wedding start / allow time in case any issues or delays
A non-refundable booking fee of $150 is required to secure my services for your time and date with the balance payable one week prior to your ceremony.

Yes. Australian marriage law requires two witnesses aged 18 years or older. If you have family or friends who would like to be present, they are very welcome to attend. If you are eloping, wanting a few more guests or keeping things very private, please chat with me about your options.

Yes. Before you can legally marry in Australia, you must complete a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). This document must be lodged with your celebrant at least one month before your wedding date. I will guide you through the entire process and explain exactly what documents you need.
